Jack Daniels Distillery

I had such a blast yesterday visiting the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg, TN. It is just a short drive south of Nashville. Only took about an hour and half maybe with the weather and traffic. Tours are free to take or for just $10 you can do the tasting tour (age 21 and over). Our guide was very informative. The walking was not difficult for those that want to go but are disabled.

I got there a little over an hour before the tour started so decided to grab some lunch and walk around the Lynchburg town square. There are craft stores, antique markets, and BBQ. I had the Barrel \house BBQ. It is no wonder why it is ranked so high on best BBQ. I had pulled BBQ on a hot dog bun with vinegar slaw and spicy BBQ sauce. Delicious!!! Don' t think I had BBQ again on a hamburger bun!!!

Saw these candies in the Lynchburg gift store. I remember my mom being so mad at my dad for getting these or me as a kid.

These pictures were taken on the tour of the distillery by my husband Christopher. There are some places cameras are not allowed due to the alcohol possibly catching on fire.

At the end of the tour if you paid the $10 you get to taste Gentleman Jack, No.7, and Single Barrell.
If you purchase a bottle in the gift shop you can have it engraved for $10 more. What a great gift idea!! We bought a bottle to open on our next anniversary.
